I am always interested in off the beaten path varietals and I think people need to get out of their "wine bubble" of only buying what they normally drink (avg consumers). <br /><br />I think when consumers branch out to new regions, varietals, etc, they find new things they like and broaden themselves on multiple levels. Often I sense that they do not want to lose $ on something if they don't like it and are not willing to take the chance. Wine tasting is one solution, on the wine trail or creating the home party.
